CHAPTER TEN
As the sun comes up, Kiss walks with Vale to the ridge above the woods and looks down on Halloween Hollow. You never said what you were accused of that the council used as a reason to turn you into a werewolf.
Vale explains that the council decides not only how the creatures of Halloween Hollow should look, but how they should act. I was always a wild child, living in the woods mostly. Vale smiles. And I love to howl at the moon so all of Halloween Hollow can hear—like all day, all night. The council said since I wouldn't stop acting like a wild animal, they would make me one. Forever.
Kiss says I love howling at the moon too!
They both laugh and begin to howl.
